Based on the multistory housing concept, Betonika” applies new technologies in the construction of one-family dwelling, enabling increased energy efficiency, resulting in lower heating expenses. Energy efficiency is an increasingly important factor due to the recent rise of energy prices.
The energy efficiency of a one-family dwelling house is evaluated by thermal resistance parameters and the tightness of the house. The thermal resistance in the sandwich elements was calculated to be 6, 64 m2K/W and up and the house received the B energy efficiency class. The calculations were carried out by the Institute of Architecture and construction of Kaunas university of Technology.
Annual heat loss via the partition walls of this house make 9808kWh (there is estimated 220 days for heating season). There was made calculation for heating expenses of this house:
Fuel type | Price LTL/kW | Heating expenses, LTL / day | Heating expenses, LTL / annually |
Electricity | 0,37 | 16,50 | 3630,00 |
Natural gas | 0,20 | 8,92 | 1962,40 |
Liquid gas | 0,10 | 4,45 | 979,00 |
Wood | 0,15 | 6,69 | 1471,80 |
Note: the costs for fuel type are estimated on the price level of the period 04.2009 – 07.2009.
